Where to Begin?

I graduated from college with a journalism degree, but becoming a sports reporter while raising a small child just didn’t make sense. Instead, I chose to become an elementary teacher , which allowed me to earn an income and spend quality time with my daughter.

After about 30 years in teaching, I found myself wanting something different. I began working as the activities director at a senior retirement center. OnceI started, I realized I could put my journalism degree to use by writing a blog for their website -- and that's how my blogging journey began.

Although I have since left the senior center, my passion for blogging has stayed with me. So that is why I’m here now.

As for the name of my blog. I have so many varied interests that it is hard to pigeonhole myself into just one subject. I never want to stop learning. WheneverI something catches my interest, I dive into doing some research. If you name it, there's a good chance it will probably show up on my blog.
